CLAAS has unveiled its latest generation of LEXION combine harvesters which come with a series of improvements for a more productive harvesting operation.
The CLAAS LEXION 8000/7000 combines were launched to members of the media in Melbourne in August and made their public debut at the recent Henty Machinery Field Days.
According to CLAAS Harvest Centre LEXION Product Manager, Steve Reeves, the new LEXION range delivers 10 per cent more capacity compared to its predecessor series.
Its innovative HYBRID threshing and separation system, which CLAAS said is effectively the heart of the machine, has been improved to offer better efficiency than ever before.
The grain tank is also now bigger, engines more fuel efficient, and technology more advanced.
