2019 CLAAS SCORPION telescopic handler launch video

CLAAS's SCORPION telescopic handler range has been revamped following CLAAS's new partnership with construction machinery company, Liebherr.

The new machines come with a series of refinements including a new “intelligent chassis and bonnet design” for optimal visibility, increased lifting capacity, optimal engine speeds to suit the application at hand and more.

There are seven models altogether in the new series, with CLAAS expected to unveil another two in the new year.

Even the naming convention of the new models has been amended to reflect their lifting capabilities, hence making it easier for operators to understand and remember. For example, the 746 model has a 7m lift height and a lift capacity of 4.6 tonnes.

The 2019 CLAAS SCORPION range comes with a number of new technology which include DYNAMIC POWER for engine management, SMART LOADING for optimum use of capacity and SMART ROADING for automatic speed adjustment when accelerating.

Operators can also tow implements such as a hay trailer, for example, up to 20kg in total weight. Watch the video from the media launch event to find out more about the new CLAAS SCORPION telescopic handler range.
