Ballarat-based farm machinery distributor OzValue Ag Machinery has unveiled its Flatout range of affordable land rollers, with three different roller types and working widths of up to 19m.
Now available throughout Australia, the series is available in a simple fixed roller configuration, twist rollers that swivel and twist for easy transportation, and its flagship three-part Tri-Plex land roller.
The Tri-Plex roller hydraulically folds for transportation and is the range's largest model, delivering over 19m of working width when expanded in full.
Each model is available in three thicknesses: 12mm, 16mm or 25mm.
According to OzValue Ag, a 40ft roller with 16mm thick steel offers ground pressures of up to 750kg per metre with an even roll pressure ideal for rolling lentils, peas and beans.
Rolling the soil after sowing not only helps improve crop germination but also eliminates surface trash and rocks for a smoother harvest.
OzValue Ag says all Flatout models are built with a robust RHS frame and require minimal maintenance.
Some other key features of the series include 75mm bearings, hydraulic locking pins and a floating hitch on the Tri-Plex models.
However, its point of difference is the reasonable price tag, says the company.
A 40ft 16mm Flatout land roller is priced at $42,900 including GST.
OzValue Ag invites interested customers to inspect the range at its premises at 6 Wiltshire Lane, Delacombe (Ballarat), Victoria.
