Agbot 3.0 ushers in new era of on-farm connectivity

The next-gen release combines updated hardware, a redesigned mobile app and an improved dashboard

Australian industrial product developer Gasbot has launched its third-generation ‘Agbot’, marking a significant advancement in remote on-farm liquid monitoring.

Developed specifically for Australian conditions, Agbot 3.0 connects via Telstra’s cellular network as well as through satellite backup provided by Skylo Technologies. This dual connectivity option ensures coverage even in the most remote areas.

“Agbot 3.0 is more than just a new device; it represents a new way of working,” said Philip Livingston, Managing Director of Gasbot.

“By integrating cellular and satellite hardware, software, and services into a simple package, we’ve made digital agriculture accessible to every grazier in Australia.”

The plug-and-play device captures data every 15 minutes and sends alerts when issues arise – such as low levels in tanks – eliminating the need for time-consuming manual checks of diesel, fertilizer and water tanks.

With a recommended retail price of $399, Agbot 3.0 is designed to offer a quick return on investment, allowing most graziers to recover their costs within months compared to traditional time-consuming and labour-intensive checking of tanks and troughs.

Subscriptions start at $88 per month.

Andrew Paskalis, Gasbot's new Regional Sales Manager for Australasia

To support the launch and meet the growing demand, Gasbot has appointed Andrew Paskalis as Regional Sales Manager for Australasia.

Mr Paskalis brings extensive experience in agricultural monitoring and business development, having held senior roles with Australian agtech and FMCG-related firms.

“Graziers have been seeking solutions that are simple, reliable, and tailored to the realities of Australian farming,” Mr Paskalis said.

“Agbot 3.0 delivers on that promise, and I’m excited to introduce it to farmers across the region.”
