AgQuip 2022: Case IH Farmlift 742 official launch

New Farmlift 742 raises the bar with its handling and hydraulic performance, Case IH said.

It is known for its red tractors, harvesters and wide range of implements, and now Case IH has added telescopic handlers to its stable of offerings in Australia.

Parked right in the middle of Case IH's stand at the AgQuip 2022 field days, the Case IH Farmlift 742 was the centre of attention with its loader arm stretching into the sky to demonstrate its impressive reach.

According to Case IH's Andrew Wood, the telescopic handler was added to the brand's arsenal in Australia to fulfill farmers' material handling requirements, where conventional wheel loaders and tractors can't satisfy.

"There's a need for our customers to be able to lift more than what a tractor with a front end loader can lift," Wood said when we caught up with him at the AgQuip 2022 field days.

"There's the extra reach that it's capable of as well, moving bales of hay or cotton bales that are quite heavy and moving them quickly and being able to stack them with some reasonable height."

It has a 7m reach and a lifting capacity of 4200kg, hence its name - Farmlift 742.
