One of the largest events on Australia’s agricultural calendar, AgQuip, is turning 50 this year and already exhibitor sites are full with a record turnout expected.
Planning is currently underway for the event with organisers, ACM Rural Events, saying it will be a fantastic celebration looking back across the five decades of AgQuip.
“What a mammoth journey it has been and I am so very proud and excited to be preparing for the 50th Aon AgQuip,” said AgQuip General Manager, Kate Nugent.
“Already we have hundreds of exhibitors locked in, filling our 34-hectare purpose-built site at Gunnedah. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for our 50th anniversary.”
Organisers are expecting over 80,000 people to stream through the gates over the three days.
The 50th AgQuip will showcase more than 3000 products and services, highlighting the latest in on-farm technology and innovation.
Global professional services firm, Aon, will return as the major sponsor for the 50th AgQuip, whose team of specialists will be on hand across the three days to provide professional advice and solutions to primary producers.
The 2023 AgQuip will also feature seminars, live machinery and tool demonstrations, education, training and vocational opportunities, as well as access to rural relief and support services.
“AgQuip brings together businesses, suppliers, support services, producers and consumers, providing an opportunity to connect, engage and learn,” Nugent said.
“This year’s event will deliver the biggest exhibition of new cutting-edge technology and services to drive on-farm efficiency and provide educational opportunities to drive the growth of our nation’s agriculture industry.”
The event will run from August 22 to 24, 2023 at the Black Jack Road site, 8km west of Gunnedah, NSW.
Tickets are now on sale via the AgQuip website.
Those who pre-purchase their ticket online will receive a 33 per cent discount and will also go into the draw to win an AEG power tool prize pack valued at $5000.
