AMAZONE has extended its range of UF02 mounted sprayers to include the new ISOBUS-compatible UF1602 model.
With a nominal volume of 1600 litres and an actual volume of 1700 litres, the UF1602 can be equipped with Super-S2 booms from 15 to 30 metres.
The UF1602 features AMAZONE’s user-friendly SmartCentre operator centre.

“This centralised unit is positioned behind a large hinged door on the left hand side of the machine, protected from dirt and water,” said CLAAS Harvest Centre Product Manager for AMAZONE, Craig Hopkins.
“The 60-litre induction bowl is also positioned behind this door.
“Its conical shape, high suction and high capacity rinse ring ensure quick, trouble-free induction of liquid and granular formulations.”

The optional Comfort-Pack allows operators to remotely control the liquid circuit from the tractor, including automatic fill stop of both the suction hose and bowser fill port.
During spraying operations, the agitation automatically regulates itself according to tank level, AMAZONE said.
“The auto-dynamic agitation control means that if a large application rate is required from the boom, the agitation capacity is temporarily reduced,” Hopkins said.
“Conversely, the agitation automatically operates at full capacity as nozzles are shut off on the headlands.”
Comfort-Pack also includes an automatic cleaning function that can be activated from the tractor.
The specially shaped polyurethane tank has very smooth walls to allow effective cleaning, both inside and out.

Users can extend the sprayer’s capacity by an additional 1000 litres by utilising the FT1001 front tank system.
“With FlowControl+, the front tank is completely integrated in the liquid circuit of the mounted unit,” Hopkins said.
“The fill volume is routed between the front tank and the rear tank throughout filling and spraying operations.”
