The Arcusin brand of bale handlers and loaders has found a new home in Penrith (NSW) ag-machinery distributor, ACF Equipment Suppliers after a brief hiatus from the Australian market.
Some of the products that ACF will offer in its Arcusin range include the AutoStack FSX and AutoStack XP automatic bale loaders; the Multipack C14 bale handler and the ForStack bale accumulator.
ACF director James Fitzpatrick says the Spanish brand has one of the most professional products in the industry and has done well in Australia in the past.
"We have also spoken to customers about what we needed to do to improve the product before we started bringing them in," he says.
"We feel we have the product mix right.
"Every time you handle a bale it is a cost so if you can get a product to collect, transport and stack it, you are in front compared to traditionally using a loader and a truck to load and unload."
He says Arcusin's current offering in Australia suits farmers and contractors doing 5000 big bales and upwards.
AutoStack bale loaders
ACF is stocking two variations of the AutoStack bale loaders, the XP and FSX, which has differing capacities with FSX being the larger model.
The AutoStack bale loader has been designed to automatically pick up bales on the ground and stack them up in the loader for transportation.
The unit is PTO operated, and the trailer has a sensor which detects and collects bales without the need to turn them, and the floating system allows for single turn pick up.
Both models are capable of handling all kinds of terrain as they feature flotation tyres and an auto steer function for added stability as well as for reduced paddock compaction.
The bale loaders also have an adjustable compaction setting that allows users to pack bales at different moisture levels for higher compaction and increased storage life.
Bales are stacked vertically, and can be moved around paddocks or hay sheds with the one piece of equipment.
Multipack bale handler
Arcusin's Multipack C14 bale packer is capable of binding small bales of up to 120cm in size into a large pack of 14 bales for easier transportation.
The PTO-run unit features four knotted binding lines and offers continued binding without interruption. The bale packs produced by the Multipack C14 can be collected by the AutoStack XP and FSX bale loaders.
ForStack bale accumulator
Arcusin's ForStack bale accumulator collects bales up to 2600mm x 1200mm x 1200mm in size, and stacks up to five bales in the field.
It operates in two modes – accumulator mode, which lets the operator decide where to stack; and dispersed mode, which randomly stacks in the field.
Fitzpatrick says ACF hopes to demonstrate these machines where possible across key hay regions.
"We’ll target certain areas where farmers had bought units this year with demonstrations on-farm to allow customers to drive and test them and understand their operation," he says.
ACF also provides full after sales support and spare parts in Australia for the Arcusin range.
