New to the market and ideal for use in construction, mining or agricultural applications, Ashland’s latest 1410E tractor-mounted ejector scraper is the fastest in its class, the brand claims.
Distributed in Australia by earthmoving and agricultural machinery specialist, DOM Distribution, the Ashland 1410E is suited for a multitude of tasks including site preparation, road construction and other heavy-duty scraping applications.
The 1410E requires tractors with at least 225hp to operate and has a heaped capacity of 10.7m³.
The Ashland scraper’s hitch transfers weight to the rear of the tractor to increase power to the ground ensuring maximum payloads, DOM Distribution adds.
The company says a lot of thought has gone into the design of the 1410E scraper to make it an easy-to-operate and effective machine for moving bulk dirt.
The machine features forward-placed router blades and flat floor angle to help with loading loose material found while levelling the ground for irrigation.
The front section pipe is placed high on the scraper sidewall which provides an unobstructed apron opening to easily eject material quickly.
When the ejector cylinder is fully extended, the ejector wall runs past the blades several inches to unload with ease.
Viewing windows are placed on both sides of the apron to allow the operator to see into the bowl when loading.
