Local distributor, PFG Australia, has announced a new partnership with leading American mower manufacturer, Bad Boy Mowers, which will see the latter’s range of commercial and residential products being sold exclusively at over 40 selected PFG Australia dealerships across the country.
According to PFG, Australia is the first major global export market for Bad Boy Mowers’ muscled-up zero-turn mowers.
The addition of Bad Boy Mowers takes the number of international brands sold through PFG’s dealer network to 15.
PFG Australia CEO, Justin Whitford, said the company is thrilled to add Bad Boy Mowers to the stable, with its commercial and residential products renowned for their attitude, quality and toughness.
“It’s a real privilege that Bad Boy Mowers has chosen PFG Australia to be their first ever major export partner,” he said.
“In just 20 years of operation, they’ve managed to become an iconic mowing brand in the US, and our growing dealer network in Australia is an ideal launching pad.”
PFG Australia has also signed up seven-time Bathurst 1000 winner and V8 Supercars legend, Craig Lowndes, as Bad Boy Mowers’ official Australian brand ambassador.

“Craig Lowndes is a perfect fit as Bad Boy Mowers’ Australian ambassador,” said Bad Boy Mowers Australia General Manager, Greg Clark.
“He’s always been a tough competitor and he’s got a massive fanbase across Australia. Craig also lives on acreage and has done since he was a kid, so he’s certainly no stranger to mowing.”
NRL team Melbourne Storm now also dons the Bad Boy Mowers logo as part of their game day strip.
Bad Boy Mowers’ offerings Down Under will include a range of five residential zero-turn mowers (think large gardens, lifestyle properties, hobby farms and small acreages) and four commercial zero-turn mowers (suitable for contractors, large acreages, golf courses, corporate groups and municipal councils).
All of Bad Boy Mowers’ products come fully assembled from their Batesville factory in Arkansas, USA.
They feature tried and tested components such as Kawasaki, Kohler, Briggs or Perkins engines, and are finished with a stunning powder-coat treatment.
Prior to delivery, each Bad Boy Mowers product undergoes a 112-point quality control testing process.
To celebrate the Australian launch, Bad Boy Mowers and PFG Australia have created a special version of the 25hp heavy-duty, Kohler-powered Bad Boy Mowers ZT Elite.
Badged the ‘Launch Edition’, this Black ZT Elite zero-turn mower features a striking blackout paint scheme and custom Reaper tyres. The Launch Edition is strictly limited to 50 units, with individually numbered build plates.
“We simply build Bad Boy Mowers products tougher,” said the head of Bad Boy Mowers’ R&D division in the US, Zac Crowl.

“We don’t skimp when it comes to metal, we don’t shy away from welding, we don’t have a lot of red tape to go through to get a design approved and changed, and we keep testing what we build and sell.
“One of the things that put Bad Boy Mowers on the map was the way we looked. We take a lot of pride in our look and people that buy our mowers just can’t wait to get out there and mow!
“So we’re excited for you all in Australia and excited to see where Bad Boy Mowers goes. There’s a lot of satisfaction in knowing that people use your product, love your product and that it’s a success.”
National Sales Manager for Bad Boy Mowers in Australia, Sal Gallenti, said initial response to the range in Australia has been great.
“They look amazing, which is the overwhelming feedback I’ve got at field days when we’ve shown off demo models, and they’re super comfortable too,” he said.
“We expect the first shipments to arrive in spring with an attractive price point, too. That’s the thing with Bad Boy Mowers – you get looks, comfort, power, toughness, quality and fantastic value for money.”
