Victoria-based dealership, Ballarat Tractors, has joined the national dealer network for Miller sprayers, and will offer its full range of equipment including the latest, most advanced sprayer models.
The dealership, which forms part of the Melbourne Tractors Group, was traditionally known for its construction equipment line-up but has recently focused more on expanding its agriculture offerings.
The Miller range will complement its flagship agriculture franchise, New Holland, and its ranges of telehandlers, seeding machinery and other ground-engaging implements.
The business supports growers in a radius out to about 150km from Ballarat.
According to Ballarat Tractors Sales Manager, Sam Risbey, there was an increasing need for broadacre machinery such as Miller in the region.
“It is an industry-leading sprayer,” Risbey said.
According to Miller’s distributor in Australia, McIntosh Distribution, the latest Miller Nitro 7000 Series sprayers offer more power, torque and fuel efficiency, as well as improved driver experience.

It also features some of the latest spray system options including green-on-green spot spray technology. In addition, customers can opt to use the machine with a swather kit for crop windrowing, increasing its versatility.
“Windrowing plays a big role in cropping programs in this area because our seasons are not always suitable for direct heading,” Risbey said.
Being part of the CNH Industrial Group means Miller shares similar platforms as those on New Holland machinery, making it easy for New Holland customers to adjust to a Miller machine. This also makes servicing easy for technicians.
New sprayers arriving with Miller’s latest ‘Intelligence’ consoles will link with customers’ New Holland Precision Land Management (MyPLM Connect) or Case IH Advanced Farming Systems (AFS Connect) accounts for easy visualisation of all field and machine data.
The new consoles and additional, larger screens are a striking component of updated cabs featuring greater comfort, numerous luxury appointments and 270-degree panoramic visibility, McIntosh added.
“The south-west Victoria region is moving away from mixed farming and livestock to more broadacre cropping and this is bringing a greater focus onto broadacre operations and the use of these types of machines,” said McIntosh Distribution’s John Hill.
Parts and support for Miller equipment in the region will be backed by Ballarat Tractors and McIntosh Distribution.
