Bargam self-propelled sprayers touch down

Arrival of Italian-made specialist sprayers provides more choices for vegetable growers in Australia

Bargam's Grimac and Grimpeur self-propelled sprayers were officially launched in Australia by the brand's local distributor, Croplands, at major field days across the country this year.

The Grimpeur is known as the ‘Mountain Climber’ in Italy and is the smaller unit out of the two new models. It has a lower clearance and is a mechanical drive unit that boasts several wheel track, boom and tank size options.

The Grimac, on the other hand, features a higher clearance and is well suited to row crop and broadacre applications.

We popped by the AgQuip field days this year to have a look at the machines and chat to Croplands product manager, Dave Farmer, to get a lowdown on the new sprayers and what they can offer growers.
