Case IH has unveiled its AF9 and AF10 combine harvesters that has been redesigned from the ground up to maximise capacity and crop flow, featuring simplified maintenance and connectivity.
Making their debut at the recent Farm Progress Show in Iowa, USA, the units will be available in Australia in limited numbers for the 2025 harvest. The combine series will feature two new models across Class 9 and 10.
“We know the harvesting challenges farmers face each year and know how critical it is to make each day as productive as the next,” said Case IH Australia and New Zealand Crop Harvesting Portfolio Manager, Marc Smith. “The AF9 and AF10 will live up to the challenge.”
Case IH said the 634hp AF9 and the 775hp AF10 will provide the power to maximise crop flow while increasing speeds, but without putting any additional pressure on the machine.
Built upon the legacy of Axial-Flow single-rotor technology, the AFXL rotor of the AF9 and AF10 will be 40 per cent longer than the 250 series, offering increased throughput. Grain-handling capacity will be enhanced with a 16,000-litre grain tank on the AF9 and 20,000 litres on the AF10.
“We are hyper-focused on delivering solutions that make our customers’ lives easier and their operations more productive,” Smith said.
“That's why we will be building the AF series combines with industry-leading matched capacity and why we are delivering more precision technology at base than ever before.”
The AF series will offer a full suite of precision technology, including dual Pro 1200 displays, Harvest Command combine automation, and connectivity.
Australian customers may have the opportunity to see early production units in field during the 2024 harvest. For more information, visit Case IH Australia’s website.
