Case IH Patriot gets bigger tank

Case IH’s Patriot self-propelled sprayer range has received a number of new features for 2019 which includes a larger tank as well as several upgraded components.

The 4542-litre product tank on the Patriot 4430 has been replaced with a larger 6000-litre tank.  However, customers can still opt for the 4542-litre tank should they wish.

The addition of the larger tank meant lighting changes to accommodate the increased height of the tank. Light reflection back into the cab has been eliminated and the boom lights have been moved forward and above the cab for better lighting of the full boom.

An increased focus on suspension components has resulted in the bushing material being replaced with greaseless High Strength Nylon. Additionally, a centred pin design allows for seven per cent greater bearing area for improved component life, Case IH said.

Our 2230, 3330 and 4430 series comfortably meet the demands of a variety of environments, while integrating technology and ergonomics for optimal productivity,” said Case IH Sprayer Product Manager for Australia and New Zealand, Alyx Selsmeyer.

“These updates are in response to feedback from Case IH customers and designed to make the Patriot even more reliable and efficient in the field, giving producers the peace of mind they need when it comes to the demands of running a profitable business.”

The Patriot product line-up will continue to offer Non-AIM Command, AIM Command Flex and AIM Command Flex S technology options, with boom size options of 24.4m or 27.4m on the Patriot 2230; and 30.5m or 36.6m on the Patriot 3330 and 4430 models.
