Visitors to this week’s AgQuip 2025 is in for a treat as they will be the first in the world to see Case IH’s brand new Steiger 785 in the flesh, now sitting high as the flagship of Case IH’s tractor range.
Offering 785hp, it pushes out almost 10 per cent more power than the Steiger 715 that arrived last year, enabling operators to handle larger implements or pull existing gear deeper to boost yield potential.
Alongside raw pulling power, the new Steiger offers a suite of technology and comfort features aimed at maximising efficiency in the paddock. Farmers will gain access to Case IH’s Connectivity Included package, delivering integrated precision tools such as AccuTurn™ Pro for automated headland turning, AccuSync™ for synchronising multiple machines, and FieldOps™ for real-time data and analytics. These features are subscription-free, with data access built into the machine.
Case IH ANZ High Horsepower Product Manager, Justin Bryant, said launching the new Steiger at AgQuip was a significant milestone.
“To be able to bring this exciting new tractor to Australia and unveil it at our largest field day event is an amazing opportunity. AgQuip visitors will be the first in the world to see this latest evolution of the Steiger range, and really get a sense of what it can offer to Australian farming operations,” he said.
Bryant added the Steiger 785 had been designed with local conditions in mind.
“Our farmers deal with some of the most challenging conditions in the world, so their equipment needs to withstand these pressures and deliver in terms of performance and reliability. The Steiger 785 Quadtrac will not only meet those demands, but with this increase in power and productivity, it will exceed them.”
Despite its size, the tractor promises agility, with Case IH highlighting excellent visibility and manoeuvrability for operators. For those needing even more performance, an optional heavy-duty suspended undercarriage provides a smoother ride, superior traction and flotation and reduced soil compaction, Case IH said.
Thanks to its simple engine design and the inclusion of Connectivity Included sans subscription fees, the Steiger 785 offers strong long-term value, the company added.
Visitors to AgQuip can see the Steiger 785 Quadtrac and explore the wider Case IH line-up at site M-N/21-25 during the event, which runs from August 19 to 21, 2025.
