While the enforcement of recent quad bike regulations have triggered the mass exodus of plenty of ATV manufacturers from the Australian market, Chinese brand CFMOTO said it is staying put and remains committed to complying with the Quad Bike Safety Standard in order to continue servicing the local market.
One of its latest releases, the CFORCE 625 EPS, is now available in Australia via distributor Mojo Motorcycles, and represents great value for money with the range of specifications and features it offers farmers who are looking for a reliable workhorse.
Built in China, the CFORCE 625 EPS is completely new from the ground up and comes with a plethora of standard features. These include a lockable rear differential, electronic power steering, 3000-pound electric winch, 12-inch alloy wheels with 25-inch CST six-ply tyres, hand guards, tow hitch and a powerful 600W magneto.
It also features a newly designed dual A-Arm suspension, push button-locking front differential, LED lights, LCD dash with Bluetooth connectivity, four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes and an enhanced chassis.
Its short wheelbase of 1280mm and turning circle of 7.25m allow operators to navigate farms and acreage with ease without having to make multi-point turns, especially when they’re in a hurry.
The CFORCE 625 EPS is powered by a 580cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine producing 40hp and 49Nm, delivered through a Canadian CVTech transmission with engine braking.
It has a towing capacity of 350kg, allowing farmers to ferry some basic equipment around the farm.
In regards to safety requirements recently mandated by the Quad Bike Safety Standard, CFMOTO says the CFORCE 625 EPS passes the requirements with flying colours. Its lateral stability tilt angle is 31.1 degrees, which exceeded the minimum of 28.81 degrees mandated by the government.
The CFORCE 625 EPS will come fitted with an operator protection device, which is one of the requirements in phase 2 of the Quad Bike Safety Standard, which will come into effect from October 11, 2021.
The CFORCE 625 EPS is available in a titanium grey livery and retails for $10,490 rideaway. Visit cfmoto.com.au for more information.
