CFMoto launches 2016 X5 Farm Spec ATV

Launched at the recent AGFEST in Tasmania, replacing the original 'Farm Spec' model released in 2012

CFMoto has launched its newest ATV, the X5 Farm Spec.

Based on the X400 and X550 models, the new-look X500 Farm Spec has a 500cc engine with Bosch fuel injection. Standard features include 14-inch six ply tyres, electronic power steering, heavy-duty 2500-pound winch, tow pack, wrap around protector bars, alloy bash plate and alloy A-Arm protectors.

It's priced at $8490.

“The 450cc plus segment continues to be the ATV of choice for most Aussie farmers and we believe we have the right machine with plenty of potential to shake things up in this segment,” says CFMoto director Michael Poynton.

“The Farm Spec model this one replaces was an instant sales success when it was released in 2012 — and for good reason.

“It was the only ATV at the time to come fully loaded with the accessories our customers were looking for as standard.

"But as ATVs became more technologically advanced with electronic power steering and EFI systems over the years, the Farm Spec was given a makeover for 2016."

The X5 Farm Spec also has a towing capacity of 350kg, and a combined carrying capacity of 105kg (35kg front, 70kg rear).
