Affordable yet packs a punch, is how Chinese-brand CFMOTO has summed up its new middleweight UFORCE 600 side-by-side.
The vehicle, designed as a utility machine, is now on sale from authorised CFMOTO dealers for $13,490 drive away, and comes with a three-year factory warranty.
While the price is slightly higher than the UFORCE 550 EPS model it is replacing, it provides plenty of standard specifications and represents a big leap in terms of its performance and tech, CFMOTO said.
Not only does it come with some cool new features such as electronic downhill braking and a limited slip rear-differential, it is also 42kg lighter than the UFORCE 550 EPS and 3hp more powerful.
Powering the UFORCE 600 is a 580cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected SOHC engine which produces 41hp of power and 62Nm of torque at much lower revs than the UFORCE 550.
The all-new limited slip rear differential puts the UFORCE 600 on the same level as its major opposition, CFMOTO says, and is fully automatic. A key benefit of the feature is it allows for a tighter turning circle.
The electronic downhill engine braking makes descending steep slopes easier and safer for operators, which also puts less wear and tear on the brakes.
The UFORCE 600 also offers increased towing and cargo box capacities of 680kg and 280kg respectively, alongside more storage space, more ground clearance and a new metallic paint.
A new bench seat provides operators with nearly 100 litres of under storage, useful for storing tools or personal belongings.
Other standard features include electronic power steering, independent rear suspension, a ROPS-approved cage, 2WD/4WD, two drive modes (Work/Normal), a Canadian CVTech transmission, 12-inch aluminium wheels, 3500-pound (1587kg) winch, side nets, indicators and side mirrors.
The UFORCE 600 is available in Titanium Grey, and is also highly customisable with extra mirrors, doors, bumpers, snorkels, front and rear screens, heated seats, cargo boxes, alloy skid plates and an audio system.
