CFMOTO's streak of local product launches continues with the release of the UFORCE 600 UTV featuring plenty of new tech and power.
The new model will replace the UFORCE 550 EPS and comes with a series of improvements in terms of design, performance, ergonomics and electronics, said local CFMOTO distributor, Mojo Motorcycles.
The UFORCE 600 is lighter than the previous model by 42kg and provides about 3hp more power than its predecessor. Towing and load capacity are also greater on the new model at 680kg and 280kg respectively. Other upgrades include a new front-end design, enhanced storage space, increased ground clearance and metallic paint.
Some standard features on the UFORCE 600 include electronic power steering, independent rear suspension, a ROPS-approved cage, 2WD/4WD, two drive modes (Work/Normal), a Canadian CVTech transmission, 12-inch aluminium wheels, 3500-pound (1587kg) winch, side nets, indicators and side mirrors.
At the new UTV’s core is a 580cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected SOHC engine which produces a maximum power of 41hp and torque of 62Nm at much lower revs than the UFORCE 550, said Mojo Motorcycles.
The all-new limited slip rear differential is an automatic process that allows for a tighter turning circle, putting the UFORCE 600 on the same level as its major opposition, Mojo Motorcycles said.
Electronic engine braking gives operators peace of mind when going on a steep descent, and ensures less wear and tear on the brakes.
Inside the cab is a new and larger bench seat with nearly 100 litres of under storage.
The UFORCE 600 is available in Titanium Grey and is customisable with extra mirrors, doors, bumpers, snorkels, front and rear screens, heated seats, cargo boxes, alloy skid plates and an audio system.
“The UFORCE 600 is a massive addition to our Aussie UTV arsenal, and we’re tremendously excited about its potential with all the updates such as the electronic engine braking and limited-slip rear diff,” said CFMOTO Australia director, Michael Poynton.
“It’s the perfect machine for both work and play, and yet another reinforcement of CFMOTO’s commitment to Aussie farmers and recreational users alike.
“With its spec and price, we’re confident the UFORCE 600 will quickly become one of our best sellers.”
The UFORCE 600 is now on sale from authorised CFMOTO dealers for $13,490 drive away, backed by a three-year factory warranty.
