CFMoto Australia has launched an updated version of its U1000 UTV workhorse, as well as the X600 to fill a gap in its farm ATV range. Prices are $16,490 and $9490 respectively.
The company is billing the U1000 as its “toughest UTV yet”, with the 71hp V-twin-powered machine now delivering increased towing and carrying capacities, more horsepower and an upgraded features list.
For the first time on a CFMoto, there’s a new rear limited slip differential, and the U1000 has a gas-assisted tip tray with tie down points and a 350kg load capacity. Towing capacity is 800kg.
The cabin has an extra 75 litres of storage (including a removable 25-litre storage box), and the U1000 has selectable 4WD, electronic power steering, hydraulic disc brakes, certified roll cage, genuine roof kit and LED lighting.
CFMoto also offers the U1000 in a silver livery for an extra $200, and there’s a three-year factory warranty.
The dual seat X600 also gets a rear limited slip differential, and other standard features include electronic power steering, selectable 2WD / 4WD drive modes with a front differential lock, a CVTech transmission with high and low range, 25-inch CST tyres wrapped around 12-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting and a heavy-duty winch.
The single-cylinder fuel-injected engine is good for 40hp/49Nm, and it comes in a choice of two liveries: orange or camo. The X600 has a two-year factory warranty.
