The annual National Agriculture Day or AgDay is just a week away and organisers are once again urging Aussies to get involved to celebrate all things farming and the people on the land working hard to keep Australians clothed and fed.
The theme of this year’s AgDay is 'Choose your #AgVenture', a celebration of the many fulfilling career opportunities in agriculture: from mustering cattle in the Top End; to developing the next breakthrough wheat variety.
AgDay is an initiative of the National Farmers Federation (NFF), which is urging people across the industry and the country to get involved in various ways.
A new feature for this year is the #AgVenture Careers Expo featuring speakers who work right across the ag industry in various roles. The webinars are free to attend and give attendees valuable insight into what a career in agriculture looks like, and the different pathways available.
The Careers Expo is currently running till November 18.
In addition to signing up for one or more of the free webinars, NFF has a few other ideas on how Aussies can get involved this National Agriculture Day:
