CLAAS AXION 900 TT tractor video review
We took CLAAS's brand new half-tracked tractor for a spinCLAAS has always been an innovative company, constantly upping its game and coming up with unique products to challenge the status quo in the agricultural industry. Its brand new CLAAS AXION 900 TERRA TRAC (TT) tractor range with a half track, half wheel configuration is just another example of its trailblazing ways.
While half-tracked tractors are not entirely new, CLAAS claims its TERRA TRAC tractors set themselves apart in the market by being the first ever half-tracked tractors with a full suspension package.
It has independent track suspension, front and rear axle suspension, four point cab suspension and a suspended seat in the cab to offer a completely smooth driving experience to operators like never before.
Being a half-tracked and half-wheeled tractor, the AXION 900 TT is capable of offering farmers the best of both worlds, including manoeuvrability of a wheeled unit and flotation of a tracked unit.
CLAAS Australia has received a couple of demonstration units since late last year and we were recently invited to take the new tractors for a spin. We knew we were in for a fun ride but were really quite surprised by how a big tractor like the AXION 900 TT could drive so smoothly and noiselessly.
