Okay, so the caped crusader would most probably go for a custom-made bat-tractor if he ever decides to try his hand at animal husbandry, but this JCB Fastrac 4220 certainly looks like a unit he’d consider. Not just for the fact that it has that sleek black paint job not commonly seen on other tractors, but also for the fact that it is one of the fastest tractors on the market, with a top speed of 60km/h.
The listing even contains a video of it zooming down the road at top speed, which is quite impressive to watch.
It certainly doesn’t match what Guy Martin has achieved in the souped up JCB Fastrac Two in his world record attempt, which is a mind-blowing 218km/h, but we're not sure a tractor going that fast would achieve much on a real farm anyway.
This demo JCB Fastrac 4220 for sale has done only 50 hours of work and is in immaculate condition. It is powered by a 6.6-litre six-cylinder engine with a maximum 235hp and 950Nm of torque.
It features a 2-range continuously variable transmission with six modes of operation.
One of JCB Fastrac’s key traits is the comfort in the cab it offers, thanks to self-levelling suspensions on the front and rear designed to keep tractor, driver and implement on the level even while a seed hopper empties or while a plough is lowered into the ground.
