Despite challenging conditions, organisers of the annual AgQuip field days said it will be another “full house” event again this year, with every single exhibit space allocated and filled.
“This is a positive sign,” said Kate Nugent from Australian Community Media’s Rural Events division.
“Companies that haven’t been with us for a while have returned, existing companies have expanded their display areas and the demand from new exhibitors has been significant.”
“A near-record number of exhibitors at this year’s event reflects the certainty that the land will flower again, and Australian farmers and graziers will use their increasing awareness and environmental skills to utilise and conserve the riches Australia has been blessed with.”
As usual, machinery fans and primary producers in the market for new gear will have plenty to look forward to, as the show is set to be a launch pad for a range of new products, which include:
In addition to agricultural machinery, the show will also feature a range of lifestyle products to cater to the entire family.
The Samsung Shopping Arcade and Market Place have been re-configured to showcase over a hundred lifestyle exhibitors offering a wide range of products from electronics to eye wear, hats to holidays.
“We hope people at AgQuip will take the opportunity to share all that is on offer at the field day,” Nugent said.
“It is a bit of mixed bag of a year, having come off another hot summer, and a number of states still heavily drought affected we are hoping the event brings some optimism along with it.”
