Deutz adds to compact 4E tractor range

New models provide power, choice, versatility and most importantly bang for buck

Deutz-Fahr’s Australian distributor, PFG Australia, has announced the addition of two new tractor models to the German brand’s 4E compact utility tractor range which will now go from 62hp to 95hp.

The 4090.4E and 4100.4E made their Australian debut at a dealer’s conference in Melbourne earlier this year where its 4-cylinder 6 series tractors were also launched.

The 4090.4E tractor is the series’ first and only ROPS model offering a sun canopy, a flat operator platform and 85hp of power to do a variety of work on the farm.

“Basically, it takes the same characteristics of the cab versions that we've been highly successful with, just with an open operator platform,” said PFG’s Deutz-Fahr tractor specialist, Anthony Darveniza.

“It gives the operator a flat platform feel, very quality ergonomic area, a forward reverse shuttle transmission with 34 gears and 15 reverse, a 40km road speed including creep gears, four cylinder engine with an engine speed programming function, three sets of auxiliary rear remotes plus more so you get a lot of bang for your buck with this tractor.”

The other new kid on the block – the 4100.4E- rounds off the 4E series offering a range-topping 95hp. It comes with an air-conditioned cab with climate control, Bluetooth radio and a range of other creature comforts available in Deutz-Fahr’s cab tractors.

“These powerful yet compact tractors will provide unequalled versatility in the field and on the road,” Darveniza said.

“With a Creep Speed of just 280m/h and a top speed of 40km/h, these tractors are a good fit for any job from large life style blocks, to the challenging and precise applications required by grape growers and horticulturalists.

“In addition, these tractors are so easy to operate and maintain that numerous operators can jump on and be driving within minutes.”

The tractors also feature Deutz-Fahr’s true 4-wheel braking feature which engages the front brakes with the rear ones for positive stopping when towing heavy loads and in difficult conditions.

The 4WD front axle enables a turning angle of 55 degrees, providing excellent manoeuvrability, while the featured centre line drive eliminates the need for universal joints for reduced maintenance.

An independent pump provides 17l/min flow to the hydrostatic steering for total steering control at all times.

The hydraulic system has a dedicated 45l/min pump to supply the lifting ram and auxiliary valves. An Easy Lift button enables the operator to lift the 3-point linkage up and down with the press of a button.

Pricing for the 4090.4E ROPS with a Stohl Deutz-Fahr level lift loader fitted is $49,900 plus GST.
