Deutz-Fahr unveils next-gen 8 series TTV at Agritechnica 2025

German engineering meets digital precision as DEUTZ-FAHR lifts the curtain on its most advanced tractor yet

Deutz-Fahr has chosen Agritechnica 2025 as the stage to unveil its all-new 8 Series TTV, a next-generation flagship that fuses power, comfort, digital intelligence and a new striking design to meet the demands of modern professional farming.

The new range, built at Deutz-Fahr's Lauingen, Germany facility, features two high-horsepower models delivering 313hp and 340hp powered by the latest FPT N67 six-cylinder engine with eVGT and Hi-eSCR 2 technology.

The engine, HVO-compatible for renewable fuel use, delivers up to 1398 Nm of torque while extending service intervals to 1000 hours, improving efficiency and reducing downtime.

Cooling performance has been enhanced through a new aluminium heat-exchange system, while the TTV transmission ensures seamless acceleration up to 60 km/h.

“For us, it represents a crucial step forward: we have strongly believed and invested in a project that puts farmers and their needs at the centre,” said Alessandro Maritano, SDF (DEUTZ-FAHR parent company) Chief Commercial Officer. “A tractor that doesn’t just meet expectations, it goes beyond them.”

Inside, operators are treated to the new SigmaVision cab, designed for panoramic visibility and all-day comfort. Its four-pillar structure, pneumatic suspension, and three-zone automatic climate control combine with a fully digital control environment, including a 15-inch iCluster display on the A-pillar and a 12.8-inch iMonitor 5 on the armrest.

The new iControl interface integrates two multifunction joysticks, the iMotion and CrossLever, allowing the operator to tailor every function to their working style.

“The 8 Series marks a revolution starting from the top,” said SDF Global Product Group Director, Alberto Bellini. “With up to 340hp, it’s a tractor designed for maximum efficiency with uncompromised comfort in a fully digital environment.”

Connectivity plays a central role in the new series. The 8 Series TTV is fully compatible with SDF Smart Farming Solutions, including Auto Guidance, ISOBUS, XTEND remote display, SDF Data Management, and the silver innovation award-winning Tractor Assisted Guidance System (TAGS). This advanced architecture gives operators real-time data integration and automation capabilities for true precision farming.

Premium features available include a seat massage function with DualMotion headrest, Low-E coated windows, laminated safety glass, and footrests for enhanced comfort, while an advanced and powerful all-LED lighting system enhances visibility.

The tractor’s hydraulic system features a load-sensing pump delivering up to 220 l/min, a clean-oil circuit, and a rear lift capacity of 12,000 kg. The front lift handles up to 5,450 kg, while dry-disc brakes and front axle suspension ensure stability, braking power, and operator safety.
