To be held from April 8 to 10 this year, the National Diesel Dirt and Turf expo will be back with gold sponsor, Komatsu, alongside hundreds of old and new exhibitors.
The event, which is free to attend, promises something for everyone in the family, including the little ones.
This year, the show will once again be held at the Sydney Dragway, situated in Eastern Creek, NSW. Organisers moved the expo from the Panthers Penrith Rugby Leagues Club a year ago due to the new venue offering larger exhibition grounds, more parking spots and easier navigation.

Some highlights of the show include a machinery challenge where operators go head-to-head in a series of excavator challenges to see who reigns supreme; as well as Pickles Auction’s live auction on the Saturday of the expo.
Hundreds of items are expected to go under the hammer at the annual Saturday event, and visitors are encouraged to drop by to grab a bargain.
There is also Little Big Rigs for the kids, where miniature, remote-controlled trucks and machinery come to life; and daily performances by the Freestyle Kings motocross team for the thrill seekers.
Komatsu will be returning as the show’s gold sponsor this year, and will be exhibiting an exciting range of tech and products at its stand at B1.
One of the more exciting pieces of equipment that will be on display at the stand is a remote-controlled mini excavator prototype.
“Designed to lay the foundation for the commercialisation of fully electric construction equipment, the fully electric 3-tonne mini-excavator is based on Komatsu's technological expertise in electric forklifts and mini excavators, and incorporates new technologies, such as lithium-ion batteries and electric cylinders,” said Komatsu executive general manager for construction, Dean Gaedtke.

“We will also be showcasing a range of construction equipment, including our Intelligent Machine Control models, as well as our Smart Construction technology solution, Komatsu iSite.
Komatsu said there will be opportunities for visitors to test drive some of the equipment on display.
According to Diesel Dirt and Turf organisers, there are still some exhibition sites up for grabs for this year’s event. For more information on the show or to apply to be an exhibitor, visit dieseldirtandturf.com.au.
