Chinese tractor brand Dongfeng (Eastwind) has added another new member to its family of compact tractors, the 28hp ZB28 replacing the ZB25.
It is powered by a high torque, direct injected diesel engine via a manual 4-speed gear box with high and low range.
Australian distributor Midway Sales' director, Scott Spring-Brown says the new model has inherited all of its predecessor's most popular features.
"Selectable 4WD enables greater pulling, plus the rear differential lock will get you out of sticky situations," he says.
"Power steering is effortless with a tight turning circle making getting around easy. A three point linkage system, 2-speed PTO and rear dual hydraulic remotes enable all kinds of popular implements to be fitted from slashers to grader blades, to get all kinds of jobs done."
The ZB28 is fitted with a folding Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS), PTO shaft guard, retractable seat belt and a clutch engaged safety switch for utmost safety.
A 4-in-1 bucket comes standard with the ZB28. A self-levelling feature keeps the bucket level when raising and lowering the boom. A quick release mechanism allows the bucket to be easily removed to fit other attachments such as a fork or bale spikes.
The ZB28 is priced at $15,990 including GST with the 4-in-1 loader and a 2-year warranty.
"The Dongfeng range is a brilliant entry level tractor for the Australian market," says Spring-Brown.
"We do have more premium options available in our East Wind and Branson ranges but this offering means that there is an option for everyone no matter what your budget." he says.
