Inlon has announced the launch of its new Civiline Raymo Torpedo electric mower, which the company claims is the first of its kind in the world.
The Raymo is powered by a Lithium-Ion battery system and has electric 4-wheel drive with zero-turn capabilities and electric deck drive without belts.
Being battery powered means it does not utilise finite resources like petrol to power and emits no harmful emissions into the environment.
The Raymo is also remote controlled allowing operators to mow steep slopes and dangerous terrain with ease from a safe distance.
The machine has a low-profile that enables mowing around obstacles, under park furniture and low branches. Its low centre of gravity and balanced weight distribution provide traction and stability on slopes.

It features a MULT-E-CARE linkage system that allows the use of different attachments on the front, while a POWERSWAP system offers quick-change battery and hybrid power options.
The 120 Amp-Hour Lithium-Ion battery module is on wheels and can be easily loaded, swapped and reloaded into the mower. According to Inlon, the Raymo has a mowing time of four to five hours on full charge with the standard 42-inch deck depending on the density of grass, cut height and ground slope.
The Raymo also has an optional hybrid mode that offers unlimited mowing time where required. It consists of a 56 Amp-hour battery and 208cc petrol engine with integrated 2kW generator. Auto-Stop/Start technology controls the engine depending on charge level.
As there are no liquid fuel or oils to worry about, the Raymo is also low maintenance, Inlon added.
