EOFY 2022: Best farm machinery deals

To say the machinery market is burning hot at the moment would be an understatement. Machinery dealers nationwide are reporting low levels of stock with items flying off the shelves (or dealership floors) as soon as they arrive.

While the EOFY deals this year are not as widespread and generous as past years’ due to obvious reasons, some dealers and manufacturers are still offering some pretty sweet deals to reel customers in, and best news is, some have items in stock and ready to go.

With the Government’s Temporary Full Expensing scheme running out in June next year, and with stock waiting times stretching out months, dealers are advising customers to get in now before time runs out to take advantage of the generous incentive.

Here are some EOFY 2022 farm machinery deals we found:  

With hay season fast approaching, CLAAS is enticing hay producers with some great EOFY deals that the company says offer a bit more than just the bog-standard finance rates. Better yet, CLAAS has these machines in stock in the country right now.

For its VARIANT balers, CLAAS is offering a 0.99% finance rate with minimum 30 per cent deposit, with annual repayments to be made in arrears over a 30-month term. First repayment can be deferred six months and customers can get GST back in month three.

In addition, the balers come with a two-year, 20,000 bales warranty with the first service free up to a value of $1,000. CLAAS will also throw in some free consumables in the form of six rolls of ROLLATEX net wrap with each purchase.

For the QUADRANT range, CLAAS is offering a 0.99% finance with minimum 30 per cent deposit, with annual repayments to be made in arrears over a 54-month term. First repayment can be deferred six months and GST back in month four.

The QUADRANT balers also come with a two-year, 20,000 bales Warranty and a free first service up to a value of $1000. Free consumables customers can get with the QUADRANT balers are 24 rolls of QUADOTEX 3400 baling twine.

Not one to shy away from a good EOFY offer, Case IH is offering some competitive finance rates and freebies with each eligible tractor or hay tool purchase.

For its tractor range, Case IH is throwing in a free branded cooler with each eligible purchase, with competitive finance rates across the board and free buckets on selected ranges.

For the Farmall B (23 to 57hp) range, customers will receive a free 22-litre cooler and a finance rate of 1.50 per cent. With the Farmall JX (75 to 110hp) and Farmall JXM range (55 to 88hp), Case IH is offering a finance rate of 0.49 per cent and a 33-litre cooler with every purchase.

For the Farmall C (86 to 114hp) and Farmall M (88 to 110hp) series, Case IH is throwing in a free 4-in-1 bucket and a finance rate of 0.49 per cent, as well as a 33-litre cooler.

Moving up to the Puma (127 to 240hp) and Maxxum (112 to 145hp) series, Case IH is offering 0.99 per cent finance rate for both ranges with a free 4-in-1 bucket upgrade available with the Maxxum range.

Customers who buys an eligible Puma or Maxxum tractor will also receive a free 42-litre cooler.

Case IH is also offering a 0.99 per cent finance offer on its entire hay and forage range which includes large square balers, small square balers, round balers, disc mower conditioners and self-propelled windrowers.

Recognising the overwhelming demand in market for new machinery and low stock levels across the country, New Holland is planning ahead by introducing finance offers that will run all the way until June 2023, taking some pressure off customers who can place orders when they are ready.

“Since the offers were launched in 2021, we’ve seen demand start to increase for machines coming in, taking advantage of the government tax incentives,” said New Holland National Sales Manager, David Gibson.

“The best part is customers can take advantage of these offers and incentives now or next year,” he said.

“From a financial standpoint it’s a good time to lock in the rates which have been extended to the end of June 2023, giving our customers greater certainty before the instant asset write off.
