Workplace health and safety information chart specialist, Pro-Visual Publishing, has released its latest range of farm safety charts for the agricultural industry.
The wall-mounted charts are distributed free of charge to farming operations nationwide and contain important information on staying safe on farms, including machinery operation guidelines, hazardous chemicals and how to handle them effectively; managing heat stress, and more.
The updated Broadacre Guide to Farm Safety 2017/18 covers a range of topics including spray drift management, safety during harvest, heat stress management, and dealing with dangerous goods.
The Livestock Industry Guide to Workplace Safety 2017/18 contains information on managing livestock-handling related injuries, quad bike safety, tractor related safety measures, livestock transportation and more.

Last but not least, the Wine Producers Guide to Safety 2018 discusses machinery safety such as powered snips and pruners; heat stress; and the Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) which is now mandatory across all Australian states as of January 1 2017.
In addition, all guides now come with augmented reality capabilities, which allow farmers or workers with smart devices to obtain additional information on a certain topic by simply scanning the chart using the Pro-Vis AR app.
