Fendt 942 Vario: Machine spotlight

When a tractor sweeps up multiple prestigious awards for its innovation and excellence, you know it's a pretty darn good one.

The Fendt 942 Vario is one such machine which has bagged both the Machine of the Year and Tractor of the Year 2020 awards at Agritechnica last year, arguably the most prestigious and sought after titles in the global agricultural industry.

Traditionally, Aussie farmers will have to wait years before a unit like this arrives Down Under but not this one. In fact, Australia was one of the first countries to receive the tractor in August last year.

We saw one of these machines working in a paddock in Hamilton, Victoria recently and just had to check it out for ourselves...
