Fendt has all but confirmed that the mystery rig it teased a couple of months ago is in fact its new generation Fendt 200 Vario specialist tractor range.
Not much has been said on the new range and its features but Fendt has announced more details will be revealed at a virtual launch event on October 7, 2020 at 7:15pm CEST (4:15am October 8 AEST)
The manufacturer published a new video on its social media platforms late last week with a few more teasers on the new range.
In the video, a voice said: “This is how I see, and I am not alone,” alluding to the range featuring two or more models.
“I go on my way, and leave my own tracks. No mountain too high, no trek too far,” the voice continued. Specialist tractors usually come with excellent traction and climbing features due to the steep vineyards they work in, so Fendt might have included some new technology in the upcoming 200 Vario series to make it stand out in the specialist market.
“Want to find out more? Light will shine into the darkness this autumn,” the voice concluded. All this talk about light, seeing and shining into the darkness makes us wonder if there will be some special lighting package included with the new 200 Vario.
A short description on the 200 Vario website states the previous Fendt 200 Vario has “inspired customers worldwide” and the new series is set to introduce new levels of productivity.
“Now there’s an all-new generation in the starting blocks, perfectly tailored to the requirements of your farming business, more versatile than ever,” the description reads.
As Fendt announced, all will be revealed on October 7, 2020. Those interested in watching the reveal live can do so by registering on the 200 Vario website. However, do note that the reveal is set to take place on October 8 at 4:15am Australian Eastern Standard Time.
Stay tuned as we bring you more on the new Fendt 200 Vario series.
