Genie has released its latest compact telescopic handler model, the GTH-3007 which is designed to handle a wide variety of jobs across different industries including material-handling, recycling, waste handling, construction work, demolition and agriculture.
According to Terex AWP Australia Genie National Sales Manager, Kurt Kinder, the unit provides fleet owners the on-site productivity and cost efficiency needed to provide a high rental return on invested capital (ROIC).
“The new Genie GTH-3007 telehandler combines efficient, full-featured capabilities with the most compact dimensions and lightest machine weight in its category,” Kinder said.
“Unlike other heavier units by other brands, the GTH-3007 combines the full capacity of a 6.89m machine with the cost efficiencies that only a 74hp Stage IIIA engine can provide.”
Featuring a weight of 6060kg, the new Genie GTH-3007 has a maximum lift height of 6.89m and maximum lift capacity of 3000kg. It is also capable of lifting 2500kg at the maximum height, and 800kg at the maximum reach of 3.86m.
With a machine width of 1.99m and height of 2.30m, the Genie GTH-3007 is well suited to work in confined or difficult to access spaces.
A low-emissions 74hp Deutz Stage IIIA compliant engine provides cost savings which translates to rapid rental returns on investment, Genie said.
“Servicing is also notably faster and easier than units with higher horsepower engines, which enhances rental availability and boosts profitability,” Kinder added.
Fully integrated into the GTH-3007’s control system is Genie’s latest Load Management System (LMS) which provides the operator with more information via a dynamic load chart presented on a 7-inch colour display.
The LMS also includes a reversing camera, optional forward/side camera and optional operator access controls that can be set up to restrict the attachments each operator can select. The LMS can be configured for full operator access or restricted access via a 4-digit PIN code or a unique electronic key.
The new telehandler includes a rugged chassis, a two-stage boom with no chains or cables, durable steel front mudguards and field proven Dana axles with dual brakes, full-time planetary four-wheel drive and four-wheel steer.
Equipped with a variable speed hydrostatic transmission for a smooth and powerful drive, this unit features a side-mounted engine cover for easy filter replacement, with access to engine components and hydraulic test ports located at the front of the chassis.
For attachment flexibility, the Genie GTH-3007 telehandler comes standard with an auxiliary hydraulics Quick Attach carriage, a feature that the model shares with its little brother - the Genie GTH-2506 compact telehandler.
