French viticultural equipment expert, Gregoire’s advanced GT3 towed grape harvester has touched down in Australia and is now available through local distributor, PFG Australia.
According to Gregoire Australia’s product manager, Jason Seabrook, the ISOBUS connection on the GT3 is an industry first which allows seamless communication between tractor and implement.
“It allows the operator to control all GT3 commands, such as start-up, levelling, speed and drawbar, without the need to add an extra joystick and screen to the tractor cab,” he said.
“Plus, there are 2000 litres bins on each side, meaning the GT3 has the largest carrying capacity on the market, making it appealing to both growers and contractors.

“The newly designed wide-angle drawbar, connected direct to the tractor, boosts manoeuvrability in tricky or short headlands, whilst still maintaining stability on sloping ground. This makes it a dream to tow.”
The GT3 features a hydrostatic transmission with auto driving management as well as a load sensing pump with optional 1260 cubic-centimetre wheel drive motors, allowing for outstanding climbing capability and stability even on inclines and damp terrain, Gregoire said.
“What’s also unique about this machine is that it is equipped with all the appointments of a self-propelled harvester,” Seabrook said.

“The GT3 has the Gregoire-developed EASYclean system for onboard de-stemming, so it’s simple to use, low maintenance and gives you 99.8 per cent MOG removal.”
A new picking rod design is also gentler on the canopy.
The GT3 is fitted with a sensing drawbar that adjusts machine speed according to tractor traction, making it well suited to work with tractors with output of 90hp and above, Gregoire said.
