JayLor rolls out mini mixer wagon

Features JayLor's tried and tested mixer technology in an 8.5 cubic-metre compact size

Canadian ag-equipment manufacturer JayLor has introduced the 5275 compact mixer wagon in Australia, designed for use on smaller dairy farms with limited space.

In the country, the brand is distributed by PFG Australia.

The 5275 mixer only requires 45hp to run, and features twin augers to process round or square bales into a Total Mixed Ration (TMR) for livestock feed.

PFG Australia says the new mixer has the lowest horsepower requirement of any TMR mixer in its class, and is capable of achieving a PTO speed of 540rpm and an auger speed of 41rpm.

The 5275 has a capacity of up to 10.6 cubic-metres and features JayLor’s patented twin, square cut augers which is capable of processing 1.5 x 1.2m round or 2.5 x 1.2 x 1.2m square bales. The JayLor square cut augers allow the mixer to quickly process baled forage into a uniform mix that resists sorting when consumed.

It has a low loading height of 2.1m, which enables the use of small skid steers for loading. It is 5.4m long and has a drum width of 1.9m for maneuverability in tight spaces.

JayLor backs their products with a 5-year comprehensive warranty of the frame, a 4-year warranty of the weighing system and a 1-year warranty on all other components of the mixer.
