JCB loaders designed for the farm
New agri loaders allow routine service checks to be done from the cab, among other featuresJCB Construction Equipment Australia (CEA) has unveiled two new wheel loaders designed specifically for handling and loading tasks on the farm.
According to JCB, the 411HT and 417HT inherited most features from the brand's other wheel loader models, but with multiple upgrades for better productivity.
"The new loaders are powered by the same JCB EcoMAX engine as before – a 4.4-litre generating 109hp in the 411HT and 125hp in the 417HT," says JCB CEA National Product Manager for Wheel Loaders, Greg Sealey.
Both models are fitted with a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system, achieving Euro Stage IV / US Tier 4 Final emissions requirements without a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) or diesel particulate filter (DPF).
"These agile loading machines have a commanding central driving position that makes it easy to position and manoeuvre them in the most restricted of working environments," Sealey says.
He adds the 411HT and 417HT have been designed primarily for hard surface applications, like operating in bulk stores or general loading tasks around the farm.
A new, more spacious CommandPlus cab gives operators more comfort, information and control over the loaders, including servicing. A second information screen features an integrated remote camera display and CommandPlus control which enables in-cab adjustment of auxiliary oil flow, optional boom suspension system and timing intervals for the reversing fan if fitted.
"Being able to perform daily routine service checks from within the cab not only saves time but encourages operators to regularly make these important checks," Sealey says.
The 8.7 tonne 411HT comes with JCB's High Torque lift arms giving 3.36m of load-over clearance with the quick-hitch fitted, and a full-turn tipping load of over five tonnes.
Three loader arm choices are available with the 9.4-tonne 417HT, giving up to 4.2m clearance for stacking bales or loading hoppers for feed production.
Optional hydraulic suspension is available for both models to provide a smoother ride and minimise the risk of spillages.
