John Deere’s cab model MY20 6M tractors are receiving several upgrades in the cab to provide better comfort, visibility and performance for the operator.
The updated 6M tractor cab now offers a low noise level of just 70dbA. According to Deere, operators have 310 degrees visibility from within the cab to ensure accurate tractor placement, implement hook-up, and optimum tractor performance.
A mechanical cab suspension and John Deere’s Triple Link Suspension (TLS) front axle serve to enhance driver comfort, while 360-degree LED lighting is available as an option for when carrying out work in low light conditions.
The design of the 6M tractor's right-hand console and the compact CommandARM console is perfectly aligned with the updated Cornerpost display in the A-post.
The new Cornerpost display and its design eliminates the instrument cluster once surrounding the steering column.
Up to four mechanical or electronic selective control valves (SCVs) are available – the latter is a new option available for the first time on these tractors. Switches on the electrohydraulic joystick are fully programmable, and direction of travel can be changed on both this and the mechanical joystick via the PowrReverser push-button.
Deere is also offering a new suite of technology on the revamped 6M rigs. This includes factory-installed AutoTrac guidance, available for the first time on the small-frame models, and the addition of JDLink telematics to assist customers with fleet management, service updates and maintenance alerts.
