John Deere dealerships to open their doors on Aug 31

With spring and Father’s Day just around the corner, John Deere dealerships around the country will open their doors on August 31 for the 2024 John Deere Demo Day, where participants will be able to browse the latest machinery and take part in fun activities for the family.  

Attendees will also have the opportunity to win a John Deere Residential ZTrak™ Zero-Turn Mower as part of a prize package worth more than A$8500.

John Deere Small Ag and Turf Marketing Manager, Erin Wagstaff, said participating dealers were keen to introduce new customers to the variety of equipment that can make lawn maintenance and tackling large projects easy, and help current customers learn more about updated models with new features.

“People often equate John Deere with large agricultural machinery so they may feel a bit shy about coming into their local dealership, but we have a huge range of mowers, small tractors, utility vehicles and other equipment that make maintaining a block of any size manageable,” she said.

“Demo Day is for anyone who wants to learn more about managing their acreage or lifestyle property and see how our equipment can cut down the time doing it and make it more enjoyable.

“Over the past decade we’ve seen incredible growth in the number of families leaving their urban grind behind and heading to rural areas or blocks on the outer fringes of our larger cities.

With Father’s Day being celebrated the following day, Wagstaff said Demo Day provided a great chance to secure a last-minute gift for dad, or mum, or to even get in early for Christmas presents.
