John Deere has revealed its MY27 6R Series tractors, introducing six new models with increased horsepower, enhanced precision agriculture technology and a completely redesigned operator environment aimed at improving productivity and reducing fatigue.
The new line-up comprises four Large Frame models — the 6R 180, 6R 200, 6R 220 and 6R 240 — alongside two X-Large Frame variants, the 6R 230 and 6R 260. Equipped with Intelligent Power Management (IPM), the range delivers up to 305hp for demanding applications including planting, haymaking, transport and heavy field work.
John Deere Australia and New Zealand Marketing Manager for Small Ag and Turf, Erin Wagstaff, said the new generation builds on the proven performance of the previous 6R range while significantly enhancing the operator experience.

"The new MY27 6R Series tractors retain all the strengths of this trusted workhorse that people know and delivers a whole new operating environment, thanks to the new cab, with optional massage seat and redesigned styling that dramatically improves visibility," Wagstaff said.
A new CommandView 4 cab introduces a Vision Seat with up to 50 degrees of swivel, optional massage and electric adjustment, while a curved rear window improves implement visibility by up to 20 per cent. Operators also gain access to a larger touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, USB-C ports, upgraded audio and an 8.5-litre refrigerated compartment.
Precision farming capabilities have also been expanded, with integrated roof-mounted receivers, AutoPath Boundaries, Satellite Maps View, JDLink and John Deere Operations Center all included to streamline setup, improve machine utilisation and support data-driven farm management. Machine Sync technology further helps coordinate multiple machines during harvest by automatically positioning follower vehicles.

John Deere has also introduced a new e19 powershift transmission, joining its existing transmission options and providing a simple-to-operate 19-speed gearbox suited to operators with varying levels of experience.
Alongside the tractors, John Deere has redesigned its compatible front loaders with improved service access and an upgraded electrical architecture, allowing additional features such as dynamic weighing, return-to-position and level-to-horizon suspension to be retrofitted more easily.
