John Deere has updated its air seeding range to include a series of new tech features including blockage detection and in-cab downforce adjustment.
The RelativeFlow Blockage detection system helps farmers ensure product is accurately and evenly distributed during seeding.
The TruSet In-Cab Downforce adjustment allows settings to be changed from the Generation 4 Display and eliminates the need for the operator to make manual downforce adjustments. That helps operators save time and effort and aid in improving seed-to-soil contact, plant emergence and maturity.
New Quick-Change Blades are available for the ProSeries Openers which John Deere said can reduce the time it takes to change opener blades by up to 45 per cent.
The new seeder line-up was released earlier this year as part of John Deere’s biggest new product launch to date, where the brand launched not one, not two but six new products including sprayers, tractors, seeders and new tech.
John Deere’s new and improved MY2022 seeding tools will be available to order from mid-2021.
