Kubota Australia has updated its RTV-X utility vehicle range, with foundation features such as the three-cylinder water-cooled Kubota diesel engine, power steering and hydraulic dump bed joined by a revamped exterior, LED headlights, multipurpose tyres, black alloy wheels and a new Pro-Konvert fully convertible cargo box with spray-on bed liner.
"There are three variations with this new RTV-X range," said Kubota Australia’s Marketing Manager, Mark Basile, at a recent dealer conference in South Australia where the UTV range made its official debut.
"We start the range with our general purpose model, which is our entry level model, and then we step up into the premium model with a few more bells and whistles on it. There's a full front brush guard, alloy wheels, different tyre options - either ATV or worksite tyres - and spray-on bed liner as well.
"Then we go from there to our four seater model - the RTV crew which has been designed as a people mover to transport people from place to place or job to job. We spec that machine with a spray-on bed liner and steel wheels as standard."
The RTV-X two-seater model can now tow up to 1000kg thanks to its increased engine power and updated transmission, as well as increased uphill driving performance.
On the other hand, the RTV-X Crew has two rows of seats that can be converted to one row with extra cargo space at the back to carry more load if need be.
A new three-way Pro-Konvert tray opens on all sides and can be converted into a flatbed, enabling a greater degree of flexibility and allows operators to transport oversized items.
“The RTV-X is in every way a continuation of Kubota’s commitment to fulfilling the needs of Australians," Basile said.
“With this new model, there has been a focus on maintaining a balance between new features, and global improvements. It’s our constant aim to remain dynamic, while still delivering on the promise of safe, capable machinery.
“We’re proud to offer equipment that demonstrates an understanding of our customers, their projects and their needs.
“Every feature of this all-new model has informed by the feedback and work of our customers. Across Australia, Kubota rough terrain vehicles are trusted for their versatility, durability and reliability. We’re proud to continue to build upon that reputation with this release.”
Deliveries of the updated RTX-Vs will begin in March 2025.
