KUHN FBP 3135 Bale Pack launch and demo video

Innovative baler wrapper combination machine offers both film and net binding, and is claimed to reduce film usage by up to 30 per cent

According to hay experts, silage needs to be baled and sealed as soon as possible for the best results and for increased milk yield.

With a machine like KUHN's FBP 3135 Bale Pack that bales and wraps in one go and produces one finished bale per minute , farmers can save on operating costs while significantly increasing the quality of their silage.

In fact, the KUHN FBP 3135 Bale Pack was so innovative that it took home the Machine of the Year 2018 award at the Agritechnica trade show in 2017 where it first made its debut.

According to KUHN product manager, Michael Murer, the machine has been designed with contractors in mind.

"It provides significant cost savings as it binds with two rolls instead of one and pre-stretches before binding for up to 30 per cent saving on film use," he said.

In addition, replacing the film rolls was made safer and easier with reels that fold down for loading or unloading, saving operators from having to physically lift heavy film rolls on to the machine for installation.
