Kverneland 4336 CR mower conditioner on show - 2018 AFIA Fodder Festival
Centre-pull MoCo kicked off the 2018 AFIA Fodder Festival demo program…Kverneland demonstrated the 3.2m centre-pull 4336 CR Mower Conditioner equipped with the new steel-on-steel roller at the inaugural AFIA Fodder Festival.
Featuring SemiSwing or full width roller conditioning, the 4336 CR has a working width of 3.2m, transport width of 3m, eight discs, a stubble height of 30-40mm, a conditioner roller speed of 900rpm and a minimum PTO requirement of 80hp.
The Kverneland has SuperFloat dual action suspension while optional is a BX Swath belt or FlipOver wide spreading kit.
PFG Australia area manager, Ian Young, said working width options of 3.6m and 4m are available with a centre-pivot drawbar.
“The spring tynes on the 3.2, 3.6 and 4m centre-pull and semi-swings are hydraulic,” Young said.
“The bigger machines have two flotation springs either side of the machine.’’
The Kverneland Taarup roller version is equipped with full width steel rollers, taking the cut crop off the cutting discs and providing gentle conditioning for fragile crops like lucerne.
