Landini announces new tractors

Five new models ranging from specialty units to utility workhorses

Since acquiring the Australian distribution rights for Italian tractor brand Landini in 2016, NSW-based heavy machinery dealership Inlon has gone from strength to strength, recently releasing five new tractor models into the Australian market at a dealer conference.

Inlon Sales and Marketing Manager, Gary Surman, said Landini dealers enjoyed a strong year in 2017 and are revved up for the year ahead.

“The five new tractor models demonstrate Landini’s strength in both its specialist tractors and the good value and high feature farm tractor range, which has been lacking in Australia,” he said.

4-series

The new 4-series tractor was released in two configurations: a vineyard/orchard model and a utility farm tractor with integrated loader joystick, instructor seat and high-visibility roof.

Powered by a Tier 4 emissions standard compliant engine delivering 393Nm of torque, the 4-series offers a new Electronic Engine RPM Control (EEC) feature, which ensures engine RPM is maintained under varying loads.

The range comes with a 32-speed transmission with creeper and Hi-Lo Powershift to offer the right gear for a multitude of applications.

The new generation Rex 4 vineyard/orchard tractor also features a Tier 4 engine and the Electronic Engine RPM Control for maximum engine performance under varying loads. The flat floor and wide opening door offer easy cabin accessibility.

The 30/30 speed transmission, with 3-speed Powershift change on the move, is fitted with 16 gears that offer working speeds between 3km/h and 10km/h.

It also features 4-wheel disc braking for increased control on hillsides or when towing heavy loads.

Rex 90F

The Rex 90F is a vineyard/orchard tractor with a 4.4-litre English Perkins engine that Inlon said delivers excellent torque and torque backup.

Its 30/30 speed transmission offers 14 speeds in the 3km/h to 10km/h working range. The front disc brakes offer full control of the tractor and improved safety when towing full spray tanks.

Landini Powerfarm 110 High Clearance Hydraulic Power Shuttle

Inlon has extended its high clearance tractor range with the Powerfarm 110 High Clearance Hydraulic Power Shuttle (RPS) version in both cab and ROPS configurations.

Inlon said the simple RPS operation enables backpackers and seasonal workers to operate the tractor with ease.

Landini Powerfarm 110 RPS

The new Landini Powerfarm 110 RPS with a maximum torque of 416Nm is the ultimate combination of loader tractor and general farm tractor for field work, according to Inlon.

The Power-shuttle and Hi-Lo Power-shift transmission offers 32/16 speeds, including creeper speeds, for the versatility to tackle a wide range of farm work such as cultivating, sowing and towing.
