Distributed by local machinery dealership, Inlon, the new Landini REX 4 100 GT CAB features new styling, componentry and features to offer a stylish yet productive package for the specialist farming market.
The tractor was nominated for the Best Specialised Tractor award at the EIMA agricultural expo in Italy last year, and won the Technical Innovation Award for its Advanced Driving system.
The REX 4 100 GT puts out 95hp and an impressive 400Nm of torque from a Tier 4, 2.9-litre 4-cylinder German-made Deutz engine.
“This sets a new benchmark in torque and torque backup packed into a narrow orchard vineyard tractor,” said Inlon Sales & Marketing Manager, Gary Surman.
It comes with a backend linkage hydraulics and four PTO-speeds - 540, 540 Eco, 1000 and 1000 Eco to meet growers’ needs.
With a width of 1478mm, the REX 4 100 GT is ideal for work in orchards or vineyards with wide row spacings and is also suitable for field work.
An Electronic Engine Control feature extracts maximum engine performance to accurately maintain the right PTO speed for optimum spraying.
"The 36-speed transmission, with 3-speed Powershift change on the move, is fitted with 16 gears in the critical working speeds between 3km/h and 10km/h,” Surman said.
“Speed changes can easily be made by a click of a button on the console or the main gear lever. It also offers 4-wheel disc braking for increased control on hillsides or when towing heavy loads such as spray carts.”
The REX 4 100 GT comes standard with a spacious air-conditioned cabin with a flat floor and wide opening door for good accessibility.
The cabin is mounted on silent blocks filled with nitrogen for greater operator comfort and a smoother ride.
