LEMKEN launches high capacity Solitair hopper

Solitair 12 SW trailer holds up to 5800-litres of fertiliser for large acreage seeding operations

LEMKEN has announced the arrival of its Solitair 12 SW fertiliser hopper in Australia that has been designed for use with its Azurit single-seed drill.

The Solitair hopper connects directly to the Azurit drill via a standard three-point coupling. LEMKEN said the combination is particularly useful for when covering large areas. The Azurit seed drill can also be fitted with a number of other implements to suit the job at hand.

The Solitair 12 SW can be filled using a telescope loader, big bags or a loading auger.

A powerful electric motor drives and controls two seeding shafts, each with four cellular rotors. These shafts dispense fertiliser at precisely the set rate to the Azurit fertiliser coulters, even at high forward speeds, LEMKEN said.

An electro-hydraulic part width section control can be integrated upon request. The hydraulically driven fan provides a constant flow of air, which carries fertiliser evenly to the outermost seed rows.

The Solitair 12 SW features ISOBUS as standard. When using a CCI 1200 terminal, both implements can be displayed and controlled simultaneously via the terminal.
