List of affected farm shows in Australia for 2020 (live updates)
Agricultural events around the country canned or postponed as coronavirus containment measures intensifyFollowing the Federal Government’s announcement over the weekend of a ban on mass gatherings of over 500 people, agricultural shows including the popular Sydney Royal Easter show to be held in early April have been called off.
This comes as coronavirus cases continue to rise across the country and several state governments in Australia including ones in Victoria and ACT have declared a state of emergency earlier today.
Shows happening in the immediate future have been cancelled with events to take place further along the calendar potentially also pulling the pin.
