Ag-machinery and automotive manufacturer Mahindra is set to unveil a new 100hp premium cab tractor, a new 4WD and 2WD tractor model and a range of mPact XTV side-by-side vehicles, which are all expected to go on-sale in the last quarter of 2016.
The announcement was made at a recent dealer conference and awards night held in Brisbane.
On the automotive front, Mahindra celebrated the launch of its New Age XUV500 Automatic SUV and announced the company will offer a new Mahindra Pik-Up ute in 2017.
The mPact XTV UTV range was launched worldwide last year and marks Mahindra's first venture into the side-by-side market.
It features both diesel and petrol models with a dynamic CVT transmission.
Mahindra also revealed it will be replacing its 6030 tractor model with the all-new 6560 with four-wheel drive (15x15 transmission) or two-wheel drive (15x3 transmission).
The mFORCE 100hp utility four-wheel-drive tractor with Powershift 32x32 transmission is also expected to arrive later this year. More information on this model and the stable of new products will be released soon.
At the conference, Mahindra discussed its recent investment in Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Co Ltd and harvester company Sampo-Rosenlew, and what the future holds for these acquisitions.
It was also a night of celebration for not just Mahindra but for several of its dealers, which took home awards for their outstanding performance over the past financial year.
In the agricultural category, CD Tractors from Muchea, WA, was named Best Performing Mahindra Agriculture Dealer while Coast to Country Tractors in Beenleigh, Qld, took out the award for Best Emerging Mahindra Agriculture Dealer.
