Two years after it was first launched, Massey Ferguson’s award-winning MF 9S Series has arrived in Australia and New Zealand delivering advances in power, comfort, control and automation.
The new flagship line-up comprises six models with power output from 285 to 425hp, all equipped with the renowned Dyna-VT transmission as standard and the first to feature the new Massey Ferguson logo.
The six models are the 9S.285, 9S.310, 9S.340, 9S.370, 9S.400 and 9S.425 (the numbers denoting horsepower output), all with a 10 per cent larger fuel tank boosting capacity to 660 litres.

“The MF 9S is the new flagship for Massey Ferguson’s straightforward, dependable and connected ‘New Tractor Era’,” said Haydn Reeves, Director Massey Ferguson, Australia & New Zealand.
“Our journey began in July 2020, with the launch of the MF 8S, which was the result of seven years of intensive customer research across the world, inspiring the development of the MF 5S, MF 6S and MF 7S Series – designed for farmers and by farmers.”
Added Anthony Morgan, Product Marketing Manager HHP, Massey Ferguson Australia & New Zealand: “As well as continuing to deliver outstanding performance and reliability, the MF 9S tractors combine an enhanced user experience with innovative technology to create a true all-rounder.
“All are equipped to Massey Ferguson’s exclusive specification, which provides ultimate comfort, productivity and connectivity with MF Guide and MF Connect as standard.”

Power for all MF 9S models is delivered by the six-cylinder, 8.4-litre AGCO Power engine. Engine Power Management boosts torque up to 1750Nm and generates up to 30hp of extra power at speeds above 15km/h for PTO and hydraulic applications on all models (except the 9S.425).
The range features Massey Ferguson’s unique Protect-U installation which separates the climate-controlled 3.4-cubic-metre cab and engine to minimise vibration and reduce noise levels.
Elsewhere, Massey Ferguson has introduced new levels of automation with the inclusion of MF Guide, MF TaskDoc and MF Connect telemetry as standard; with the MF AutoTurn, AutoHeadland, ISOBUS Tractor Implement Management, MF Section Control and MF Rate Control available as options.
